Welcome to Post Meeting Tour NGSE CONFERENCE 2025!

Are you ready to discover the country that will be your home forever!? We have prepared for you a tour all over Sardinia, to give you the chance to visit some of its most beautiful and interesting places. Let ‘start our tour in Cagliari the Capital of Sardinia. Get ready to admire the Archeologic Museum of Tharros and some of the most beautiful location of Sardinia: Alghero. Get ready to visit the most beautiful beaches in Italy on the Costa Smeralda and one of the most sought after places by the international jet set: Porto Cervo. We will visit the center of Sardinia where the ancient traditions of the Sardinian people are still alive and we will appreciate the traditional cuisine. On the way back to Cagliari we will have the opportunity to visit the most important nuraghe in Sardinia, a world heritage site. Get ready to travel through all these different cities on an amazing adventure full of discoveries, memories, and friendship!



DAY 01 – May 11 – Sunday

Start DAY – Cagliari – Oristano

We will start our tour in Cagliari al 16.00 pm:

17.30:00 – Get ready to know Archeologic Museum of Tharros.

The ancient city of Tharros Founded in the 7th century BC, probably on the initiative of Carthage, in an area already frequented in the Nuragic and Punic ages, it became one of the most important cities in the Mediterranean. It later passed under Rome until the Byzantine period, when the city was abandoned

DAY 02 – May 12 – Monday

Oristano – Alghero

15:00 – Our first stop of the day will be the famous city of Alghero

Alghero is the gateway to the island, as well as one of its most beloved places, thanks to exciting walks along the bastions of the port, the red roofs that touch the sky and the splendid natural inlet overlooking the emerald sea. Its coastline is about 90 kilometers long, called the Riviera del Corallo: here lives the largest colony of coral of the most prized quality.

DAY 03 – May 13 – Tuesday

Get Ready to discovery the Sardinian Culture

Nuoro is the Athens of Sardinia, animated by a lively cultural ferment since the nineteenth century. Artists and writers such as Salvatore and Sebastiano Satta, Francesco Ciusa and Grazia Deledda gave it fame throughout Europe. Walking in its historic center is a pleasant and relaxing experience

The ethnographic Museum, permanently open since 1976 under the name of Museum of Sardinian Popular Life and Traditions, is the largest Ethnographic Museum in Sardinia, is included in the most important national and international tourist guides and is present in all cultural itineraries concerning Nuoro and Barbagia.

From Nuoro we will move to Orgosolo

Cradle of archaic traditions in the center of the Island, twenty kilometers from Nuoro, an uncontaminated trekking paradise, offers glimpses of enchanting and timeless Sardinia. History told on the walls of a museum-town. Orgosolo reveals a deep connection with its Barbagia roots and with the customs and traditions of the past: it is the home of the Canto a Tenore, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the town of murals.

DAY 05 – May 15 – Thursday

Nuoro – Cagliari

9:00 – Departure to Barumini  – 2 hour

After one hour of travel Get ready to discover one of the wonders of Sardinia.

Near the Giara, in central-southern Sardinia, stands the monument symbol of a mythical era, the main attraction of a village that has always been a center of power. At the entrance to the town stands a monumental complex that has made it famous throughout the world: su Nuraxi, the only archaeological site in Sardinia declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (1997). Not only the most impressive (and best preserved) of the thirty nearby Nuragic sites, but above all the most precious legacy that the Nuragic civilization has left us.
